Meyagio LUV (Professor Meya E. Hargett) is an African American public historian, educator, and doctoral student at Pepperdine University. She specializes in Afro-Western history, criminology, and social justice education, with over 15 years of experience teaching in K–12 and college systems.

Professor Hargett is an active member of the Western Historical Association and the African American Intellectual Historical Society (AAIHS).
