Research focus: Tracing the heritage and semi-dynamic relationship of the Black and White Bell-Hargett’s of the Carolinas in the Antebellum era; BIPOC expertise in Western Territories—researching outlaws of color in western frontiers and investigating whom the first Black Federal Marshals may have arrested.
